| Cowhorse shows consist of 3 events for horses 3, 4, and 5 years old: a reining pattern, cow cutting (called herd work), and a single cow maneuvered down the fence. The horse show classes are for horses of any age in the pattern work and single cow work. There are classes for both novice and advanced competitors and awards are given for the combined scores of the two horse shows. This is the biggest cowhorse show in Montana and draws cowhorse enthusiasts from five states and Canada! |
